Vintage Saxophone Photos
Here's a nice sax quartet from the 1920's (I'm guessing). This quartet
includes baritone, tenor, C-melody, and alto saxes.
2 alto sax players from the 40's or 50's.
This gentleman is holding a nice example of a C-melody sax.
This pic is of an all-girl saxophone (with 1 clarinet) band from the 1920's(?).
This band has everything from a soprano all the way down to a bass sax. The
clarinet appears to be an Albert system instrument.
This is a vintage postcard distributed by Conn showing their new C-melody
saxophone. This is the model I own. :)
Here is a trio of musicians. The sax player is holding a nice vintage alto
sax.
This young woman is playing a C-melody saxophone. C-melodies were very
popular during the 1920's.
This gentleman is wearing a Salvation Army uniform and holding a nice vintage
instrument.
Here's an early sax ensemble. The members are wearing clown outfits, and one
of the guys is in "black-face".
Here we have a nice sax quartet...2 altos, tenor and baritone.
This is a multi-talented fellow. Not only is he holding a trombone, but he
has a very old alto sax, and Albert system clarinet and an 8-key wooden
flute.
This lovely young woman is proudly holding her alto sax.
