Vintage Band Photos

I can't quite make out the name of the band on the bass drum. But it looks like they had one reed player who played clarinet, alto sax, and baritone sax.

This is a photo of a famil y band. The girl playing clarinet has a Boehm system with a "wrap-around" register key. The father in back looks amazingly like Jed Clampett from the "Beverly Hillbillies". :)

This is a photo of Merrill's Orchestra from Hillsboro, NH. The clarinet player is playing an Albert system instrument.

This is a trio of musicians. The clarinet player is holding an Albert system clarinet.

This is the Webb City Band. The one clarinet you can see clearly is an Albert system. I believe the sousaphone-like instrument in front is called a helicon.

Here is a photo of a band from the 1920's (maybe earlier). The saxophonist is holding a straight soprano, and has an alto and tenor on the floor in front. I believe that is a "fake" piano in the background.
