My Flutes

Here is a pic showing some of the flute family. From left to right: Artley Eb soprano (1958), Emerson piccolo, Emerson alto, and F.A. Reynolds C soprano (1957).

Here are my 3 piccolos. From top to bottom: Weymann Db, Emerson C, and a 6-key C piccolo made in Saxony.

These are both C flutes. The one on the left is an 8-key wooden flute from Germany, and the one on the right is my main flute by Reynolds.

This is an interesting flute from around 1910. It's made of ebonite (an early form of hard rubber). It also appears to be in the key of Db. Made by A.H. Langlois in London. This flute is not restored at the moment.

Recorders are also in the flute family. Occasionally, I run across shows that have recorder parts in the reed books. l to r: Yamaha bass, Hohner soprano, and a Gill alto.
