The andycam was one of the first webcammers we ever saw online. It was Andy Smith's dorm room cam from Eckerd College in Florida. He had a neat chat thing on there so you could talk to him. He was ballsy, too, using a school server for his camera. I don't see how the servers at eckerd.edu took the pressure from the 1000's of visitors he had each day.
I remember his motto: "Be nice. You're an asshole? I'm an even bigger asshole." He was a fun nice guy though. He had a girlfriend in the room sometimes, but he loved the gay guys being around.
